Growing up, my dad and I would make breakfast together on the weekends. My favorite day was when we wanted to make an egg sandwich and my dad got really excited after looking in the fridge. I was used to my dad adding things to meals we normally ate and making them even better. Most of the time it was something simple. This time he decided that we needed to toast the bread and have two eggs with a slice of cheese in between. I just rolled my eyes and laughed at how my dad can make anything exciting.
Ingredients:
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Slice of cheese (Whatever kind you prefer)
- 2 Slices of bread
- Butter
Directions:
- Start by heating a pan with a little bit of oil and cook your eggs. I like to break the yolk but if you would prefer having the yolk, that tastes great too! After your eggs are done put them to the side. Spread butter on one side of both pieces of bread and lay one down on the pan, butter side down. Build your sandwich by laying one egg on top of the bread, then the slice of cheese and the last egg. Top with the other slice of bread with the buttered side up. Cook both sides till golden brown and Enjoy!
